Will my kid actually let me use it?

Yes — and that's the whole reason we made it. The U-shape means your child just bites down and the soft silicone brush does the rest. No scratchy bristles, no forcing their mouth open, no 2-minute struggle. Most parents tell us their kids ask to use it after the first try.

Is it safe for young kids?

Yes. The brush head is made of BPA-free, food-grade silicone — the same kind used in baby pacifiers and teething toys. The bristles are soft enough to be gentle on developing gums, and the vibration is calibrated specifically for children (much lower intensity than adult sonic toothbrushes).

Recommended for ages 2 to 12. Adult supervision recommended for kids under 6.

How does it clean if my kid isn't scrubbing?

The magic is in the shape. The U-shape hugs both rows of teeth at once (top and bottom), and the sonic vibration — up to 30,000 movements per minute — does the cleaning work that a manual brush requires your kid to do with technique. Your child bites down, moves the brush gently side to side, and every surface gets covered in about 60 seconds.

Adult-level sonic cleaning tech, sized and calibrated for kids.

How do I clean the brush itself?

Rinse the brush head under running water after each use. Once a week, remove the head and wash it with warm water and mild soap.

The whole brush is IPX7 waterproof — you can rinse the entire body without damaging it. Never put it in the dishwasher (the heat damages the silicone and the internal motor seal).

Why parents switch from regular brushes

A regular kids toothbrush works — if your child has perfect technique, 2 minutes of patience, and no fight in them. Most kids under 10 have none of those. Little Chomp skips the technique, cuts the time to 60 seconds, and turns bedtime brushing into something your child does on their own.

Wish I had found this one first

Third U-shaped one I bought this year. The other two ended up in the trash — one was too hard, the other was too small and he just spit it out. This one he actually keeps in his mouth. Wish I had found it first and saved the $80 I wasted before.

    Actually nicer than I expected

Ordered nervous because honestly it looks like something from Amazon. Package showed up nicer than I expected, the little dino is heavier than it looks and the silicone is actually soft, not that stiff plastic feel. Been using it every night for a month and still works like day one.

I cried a little not gonna lie

My 5 year old has always been really particular about textures. Toothbrushes, food tags on shirts, all of it. He usually gags the second anything goes near his mouth. First time I put this in he just looked at me and bit down. Didn't cry, didn't push it away, nothing. I actually cried a little that night not gonna lie.
